My friend took a photo of the 'Apapane on the Big Island of Hawaii, and I was so intrigued, I decided to try my hand with watercolors. Let me know what you think. Arlene G. Woo: arlenesart@gmail.com I'm going to put it in a show soon.

Watercolor "Remover of Obstacles" Hawaii artist Arlene G. Woo
By accident, I found myself Googling Ganesha and found that I could relate to him right now. He is known as the "Remover of Obstacles" and I can use that now. Hindu color symbolism indicates that blue conquers evil, saffron is for warriors, and yellow is for peace and happiness; thus, my choice of colors. Hopefully, he can help you, too. contact: arlenesart@gmail.com

Watercolor, Flowers, "Bougainvillea Burst", Hawaii Artist, Arlene G. Woo
These coral bougainvillea grow in my yard in the sunshine. I think I like them because they spread and make a happy landscape. This small painting ( 7.75"x7.5") is easy to place in your home. $40. Arlene G. Woo arlenesart@gmail.com
