Award winner watercolor "Mist on the Mountain" by Hawaii artist Arlene G. Woo

This scene captured my eye as I was leaving a friend's studio in Palolo Valley. Viewers have seen various things, but to me it is "Mist on the Mountain".  Juror Sandra Duran Wilson gave it an award in the Hawaii Watercolor Society exhibition this year.  Purchase unframed: $600.

Watercolor, abstract, mountains, Azure Koolaus, Hawaii Artist, Arlene G. Woo

What if we painted the mountains without any "green"?  That's what I did here.  Our Koolaus in Hawaii are undulating verticals.  This image painted plein aire is 8.75"x 11.75".  $ 95, unmatted, unframed for easy mailing.  Free postage within US.  Contact: arlenesart@gmail.com  Arlene G. Woo

Climb Every Mountain, Watercolor by Arlene G. Woo

If you look closely, you can see some pen work which echoes some Japanese art.  This was something new that I tried after pouring watercolor paint onto Fabriano paper.  The image is 10"x14" and may be purchased unmatted and unframed for  $175 through PayPal.  To give me feedback: Arlene G. Woo
