Watercolor original "Abstract Koi" Hawaii artist Arlene G.Woo

Koi ponds are often very dark so I focused on red and created dark contrast, moving away from realism.  This image is 22"x15" unmatted, unframed for $400.  Contact: arlenesart@gmail.com

Watercolor Red Koi II by Hawaii artist Arlene G. Woo

I like to paint koi, but this time I decided to focus on the red for the image. I wanted to enhance the contrast between the water and the fish. It is a quarter sheet - 10.5x 15".  It is available for purchase unmatted, unframed for $200.  Please contact me with your opinion: Arlene G. Woo

Watercolor/Collage, "Koi Collage", Arlene G. Woo, Hawaii Artist

Koi Collage was inspired by the koi pond at my granddaughters' school.  I love to watch them glide through the water.  I was named Artist of the Month by the National Pond Service (this also inspired me to paint more koi.)  The image is 15"x 20" on Fabriano hot press watercolor paper.  It may be yours unmatted and unframed for $400.  Contact me: Arlene G. Kissing Koi, Acrylic on Canvas, Hawaii Artist Arlene G. Woo

Koi are popular in Hawaii, and there is something about their freedom of movement that attracts me.  These are representative of the Butterfly Koi with the swishier tails - so lovely in the water.  This acrylic on canvas is 24"x36" for $1200.  Contact me: Arlene G. Woo    SOLD
